Those eating gluten-free have relied on Chex for a while now and the variety is huge -  six of the seven cereal flavors  (all but wheat) are gluten-free. Fruity  and  Cocoa  Pebbles: Like Chex, these have been a longstanding option. And if you're looking for something to satisfy a sweet tooth, this is a perfect choice. Lucky Charms: This is another  sweet choice  I was over the (blue) moon to find out was finally made gluten-free. Nature's Path cereals: There are  dozens of gluten-free cereals  available through this brand. My favorites are the Sunrise Crunchy Honey and Peanut Butter Panda Puffs. Special K Touch of Brown Sugar: For the calorie-conscious breakfast, this is the way to go. Unfortunately there's only one flavor in this product line's cold cereal lineup that's safe, ...

General Mills, the maker of Cheerios and Lucky Charms, announced this week that it was going to purchase a significant (but undisclosed) amount of kernza for its Cascadian Farm brand. It’s there that people have been working to develop the plant to play a bigger role in the creation of a more sustainable agricultural system. Kernza is actually the plant’s trademarked name—it’s more formally known as wild triga and it was first brought to the US from land near the Caspian Sea. Unlike wheat, kernza is a ...
