Along with his partners, Shocker and the Tinkerer, he begins using the technology his company salvaged to build powerful weapons to sell to criminals. It seems that Spider-Man has his eyes set on becoming an Avenger. However, having lived that life for years, Iron Man cautions him against it and instead encourages him to be a street-level, "friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.".
