Investigation Into Jose Fernandez Crash Concludes He Was Driving Boat, Intoxicated

... the discovery of the boat at the time : “A boat crew from Coast Guard Station Miami Beach was heading out on a law enforcement patrol at approximately 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, when they passed the jetty along Government Cut and discovered an overturned 32-foot Sea Vee center console boat on the jetty.”. According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission probe, Fernandez was indeed driving the boat at the time of the accident. This runs counter to earlier claims by the Fernandez family attorney that he had proof that Fernandez was not in fact the driver of the boat. Here’s how the Palm Beach post summarizes that section of the FWC report : “Investigators found Fernandez’s DNA on the steering wheel and the throttle of Kaught Looking, his 32-foot Sea Vee, which struck a jetty at the southern tip of Miami Beach just after 3 a.m. that morning. Fernandez’ body also lurched forward upon impact, with his legs hitting the center console, ...

I'm Going To Do My Best Marshawn Lynch Impression For Seahawks

... to re-sign him. On Tuesday, Lacy signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks , a team that has struggled to run the ball in the post-Marshawn Lynch era. Whether Lacy can be that guy is the $5.5 million question ($3 million guaranteed), and the report that he packed on the pounds in recent weeks doesn’t help. RB Eddie Lacy visited Sea (his new team), Minn and GB in the last wk. For one of the three teams Lacy weighed 267. Listed last year at 234. — Bob Mc Ginn (@Bob Mc Ginn) March 14, 2017. Lacy knows he has doubters and that, he says, motivates him. “I’m very motivated to prove myself,” he said, via the team’s website. “I know what I’m able to do, but I just want to go out and show everybody that I can do it and will do it. I just can’t wait to get my chance.”. Lacy added: “[I] just want to come out and showcase what I can do, prove that I’m not a fluke, that I can do what I do and do it really well.”. The Seahawks, who sported one of the league’s best rushing attacks when Lynch was in the backfield, had a nonexistent running game last season. According to Football Outsiders ’ metrics, ...

Cowboys Lose Two Starting Cornerbacks In Free Agency To The Ravens, Jets

... Wilcox and Claiborne, the Cowboys have to replace 2,679 snaps from 2016. — Todd Archer (@toddarcher) March 16, 2017. According to Pro Football Focus, Carr led the Cowboys’ defense in snaps with 1,103. Claiborne was on the field for only 406 snaps, but that was due to the fact that he missed more than half the season with injuries. As for Carr’s actual level of play when he was on the field, well, let’s just say that the Cowboys really aren’t losing too much. He might’ve been durable, but he also allowed a 101.0 passer rating in coverage last year, per PFF. He was targeted 99 times and allowed 60 receptions for 850 yards and five touchdowns. He snagged just one interception. Meanwhile, Claiborne actually performed well, despite his lengthy absence from the field. According to PFF, he was targeted 54 times in coverage, allowing 28 receptions for 250 yards, a touchdown, and an interception, which comes out to a 63.0 passer rating for opposing quarterbacks. But the former first-round pick simply can’t stay on the field. As ESPN’s Rich Cimini pointed out, he missed 33 games in five seasons. So, even ...

Ke Vaughn Allen couldn’t get anything going (1 for 11), there were 14 turnovers and an underwhelming showing in the first half. Given Virginia’s strong performance against earlier in the day, Florida will likely need more than Robinson to advance to the Sweet 16. West Region. 66-46 over (16)  South Dakota State. Gonzaga didn’t cover the spread, but that’s about the only criticism on the table after putting South Dakota State away in the second half of a solid first round win. SDSU star Mike Daum got 17 points, but the best defensive team Mark Few has brought into the tournament lived up to its reputation. (8) Northwestern ...

Jackson was charged with misdemeanor property damage in February. Jackson was suspended for the start of the Big 12 tournament by coach Bill Self, but the incident was related to a fender-bender by Jackson in February that he did not tell Self about for nearly a month. Northwestern Gets First Ncaa Tourney Win After Vanderbilt Foul Blunder
Northwestern Gets First Ncaa Tourney Win After Vanderbilt Foul Blunder

... Vandy junior Matthew Fisher-Davis didn’t account for time and score, and fouled Northwestern’s Bryant Mc Intosh. Northwestern was in the double-bonus, so Mc Intosh went to the line, made both free throws, and Northwestern took the lead. This came after Vandy stormed back from a late deficit to grab the lead. This was the best game of the afternoon session, and the way it ended will be remembered for a long time in Nashville and Evanston - and points beyond. A stunning play. You almost never see this. How can you not feel a little sick for Fisher-Davis? He immediately realized he made a mistake. Matthew Fisher-Davis accidentally committed an intentional foul that cost Vandy the game. __link__/n QVp 9 T 444 E. — SLAM Magazine (@SLAMonline) March 16, 2017.
