Everything We Know About Drake's 'more Life
... Dukes and Metro Boomin. Release Strategy. Following the release strategy of Views, and continuing Drake’s partnership with the most valuable company in the world, More Life is going to be an Apple Music exclusive and premiere on Beats 1. Taking it one step further though, Drake intends on structuring More Life after his OVO Sounds show on Beats 1. This has some interesting implications. OVO Sound is a place for OVO premieres, but it’s also a place for curation—where Drake, a voracious consumer of music, can show off what he listens to. For fans, that platform hints at what Drake might sound like in a few months, or points to which artist he might remix. In this case, it likely means that Drake is going to be trying out some of the stuff he normally likes to put in front of his listeners. Drake hasn’t taken an artistic risk in a little ...
People Think Drake Posted And Then Quickly Deleted ‘more Life’ Release Date
... in Swedish. Aubrey is currently in Sweden on tour. “Om du över sätter det här är det försent,” it reads, which translates to, “If you’re reading/translating this, it’s too late.”. But, under what appears to be the 6 God’s signature are the words “More Life” and the date “March 4.” While OVO fans started losing their minds, Drake later deleted the post. So is the much-anticipated project dropping today? There might be a better explanation. “It’s likely he posted it as a joke/shoutout to Sweden, signed it March 4 because that’s the date [his tour is] in Sweden then added More Life because he’s always saying it,” one IG user pointed out. “Probs deleted it because he realized the connotations.”. That makes sense, but fans have reason to be getting restless. In January, Drizzy hinted that the project would drop in late February. “I want to thank y’all for a beautiful first show. Thank you very much. I really do appreciate you,” he told the crowd at his first show in Amsterdam. “And you know what the good news is? I know we got three more shows in Amsterdam right? But the best part about that is if you coming back to any more shows, More Life is going to be out, we can just do some ...
Drake’s Giving Us More Life This February
... Up the Silence” on February 6 th, which is a collaboration with the Nigerian singer Wizkid. Wizkid is no stranger to Drake’s music. He was also featured in Drake’s hit “One Dance,” which quickly topped the charts right after its release. His other works, like “Fake Love,” “Sneakin,’”which features 21 Savage, and “Two Birds One Stone” are all hits within themselves, but it leaves his fan base wondering what the whole album will consist of. Drake himself describes it as a body of art to act as a middleman to intertwine his major releases like the ones stated above from the rest of the album, and the songs that have not been heard by the masses quite yet. This idea of a bridge also represents something to smooth out the gaps, as he states, in the album. They simply represent the area of limbo his fans are seeing in between his already released singles. Not only does the rapper himself referred to his upcoming album as a “body of art,” he also has the intention of “More Life” becoming the playlist and soundtrack to everyone’s lives, especially for his fans. It will be no surprise to anyone if he astounds us yet ...
What We Know About Drake’s Upcoming Project, ‘more Life
... Photo via NPR. Print article. The only way More Life could generate more hype is if it was called More Drake. The follow-up to the sweet Canadian prince of hip-hop's overwhelmingly popular, underwhelming album Views (2016) is just around the corner (we hope) and, if Aubrey "Consistency" Graham's middle name is any indication, it's going to be worth a listen. But what do we know about the project so far. 1) "Sneakin' (feat. 21 Savage)," "Fake Love" and "Two Birds, One Stone" will most likely be on it. The singles were released when Drake first announced More Life and use the project's album artwork. 2) It's coming out soon — maybe in February. During his Jan. 28 show in Amsterdam, the rapper told the audience "I know we got three more shows in Amsterdam right? But the best part about that is if you coming back to any more shows, More Life is going to be out, we can just do some whole new shit." Drake's next show in the city is on Feb. 26. 3) More Life is not a ...

... (2016). There’s been no mention as to who the singer is on the chorus, or who the female rapper is on the latter half (perhaps Nicki Minaj ?), but the song is credited to Drake’s standby producer Noah “40” Shebib. Read partial lyrics here. The track that Drake has played most often on tour has been “Kiss My Teeth,” also referred to as “The Streets.” The club banger was first previewed, fittingly, at a club, where Drake and his DJ partook in the crowd’s reaction by dancing and singing along. You can check it out below, and you can read the lyrics right here. “Kiss My Teeth” (aka “The Streets”) has also been previewed in Amsterdam, where it was revealed that the song featured a verse from Giggs. The U. K. rapper comes into on the third verse, and spits an ominous, grime-inflected sixteen bars that can best be heard in the live recording below. “Kiss My Teeth” is produced by New York producer Ness Beats. Drake and Giggs have also come together for a song tentatively titled “Next Man.” The duo previewed it while overseas, and the song departs from “Kiss My Teeth” in that it goes for a harder, more bass-heavy sound. It’s obvious that Drake is ...
Drake Tells Fans He's 'two Weeks' Away From Finishing 'more Life
... still nothing is sweet." More Life was originally penciled in for a December release before Drake started telling his overseas audiences that they should hear it before he returns to Europe for his next set of dates. “I know we got three more shows in Amsterdam, but the best part of that is, if you coming back to any more shows, More Life is gonna be out and we can do some whole new s-t,” Drake told a crowd two weeks ago in Amsterdam. Drake previously released the advance cuts "Sneakin'" featuring 21 Savage, "Two Birds, One Stone," Dave's "Wanna Know (Remix)", and his newly named No. 1 song on the Rhythmic charts , "Fake Love." In October, Drake announced that he'd be releasing More Life during an episode of OVO Sound Radio. His close collaborator and OVO signee, producer Nineteen 85, also teased that More Life would be a compilation. "More Life is interesting because this is [Drake] ...
