Things that happen in the hallways of the convention center at the #NFLCombine. __link__/Tiu 3 az Ptn S. — Dan Labbe (@dan_labbe) March 3, 2017. 5:04 p.m. The Mysterious Case of Noah Brown is a tale of surprise: The four-touchdown game vs. Oklahoma (the only scores he had this season), the Buckeyes' inconsistent passing attack and the certainty that if he returned for 2017, he would be the team's No. 1 target. Yet he filed for the draft. Friday, he explained why. "Brown is aware that a lot of people were confused by his decision, that most thought he'd be best-served coming back to be Ohio State's top receiver in 2017. That stuff didn't matter to him. "Because unlike most players who come and go on Ohio State's football roster, Brown is familiar with what it's like to suffer a major injury [a broken leg in 2015], to have to consider that there's a chance that his football career is over. "'That was one of the ...

One Quarterback Used A Youtube Video To Increase His Hand Size
One Quarterback Used A Youtube Video To Increase His Hand Size

... 5 h ago. • 1 min read. At the NFL combine, measurements take on a heightened level of importance, from the 40-yard dash to the vertical leap to the size of a quarterback’s hand. A bad measurement at the combine has the potential to plummet a prospect’s draft stock. So, when Central Michigan quarterback Cooper Rush’s hands didn’t measure well at East-West Shrine Game in January, he made sure he increased the size of his hands before the combine. If you’re wondering how someone might grow their hands at this stage in their life, don’t worry, because Rush explained how he did it at the combine Friday. He used a You Tube video. “I looked up a You Tube video of like hand stretching, just random, like for people that type a lot,” Rush said, per USA Today’s Tom Pelissero.  “And so I did that. And it does - it helps it feel better and it worked.”. According to Pelissero, Rush’s hands grew from 8 3/4 inches at the East-West Shrine game to 9 1/8 inches at the combine. Unfortunately ...

Christian Mccaffrey Dominated At The 2017 Nfl Combine

... is at 6’0, 240 pounds. But he blew away Cook and Fournette in just about every drill in Indianapolis. Mc Caffrey ran the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds, just ahead of Cook’s 4.49 and Fournette’s 4.51. And his bench press numbers were lacking. But in agility and explosion drills, Mc Caffrey dominated. His 37.5-inch vertical was far better than Fournette’s 28.5 or Cook’s 30.5 jumps. He also posted a time of 6.57 seconds in the three-cone drill, one of the best ever marks in the drill. As if Christian Mc Caffrey's day couldn't get any better he also ran a 6.57 3-Cone. The 2 nd fastest by an RB at the #NFLCombine since 2003. — Josh Norris (@Josh Norris) March 3, 2017. Then, when he was done putting the rest of the running back class to shame in agility drills, Mc Caffrey did wide receiver drills. And dominated those, too. They had Christian Mc Caffery workout as a WR and he looked like a 1 st rd pick there too @nflnetwork. — Charley Casserly (@Charley Casserly) March 3, 2017. Maybe the only thing that didn’t go right for Mc Caffrey on Friday was that his shirt had his name spelled wrong (Mc Caffery). Mc Caffrey has been considered ...

To see Bolles Thursday at the NFL Scouting Combine, calm and collected as the media peppered him with questions about his past, it reminds us that anyone can change their path in life. “I grew up in a rough childhood and things like that,” Bolles said Thursday. “You guys know my story. Washington's John Ross Taking Aim At Nfl Combine 40-yard Dash Record Saturday

... — attempting to break the combine’s record in the 40-yard dash of 4.24 set by current Arizona running back Chris Johnson in 2008. “I’m going to try,’ said Ross, who with the rest of the receivers  will be timed  Saturday. “I don’t want to say too much, (that) I’m just everything. But I’m definitely going to try. I’m definitely going to go for it.’. Most Read Stories. Unlimited Digital Access. $1 for 4 weeks. Ross’ best time in the 40 is 4.25 at the Husky Spring Combine last March , which is plenty fast enough and one reason he has been racing up mock drafts in recent weeks, with increasing speculation he could be taken in the top half of the first round. NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock earlier this week called Ross the best vertical threat available in the draft. Ross didn’t shy away from that assessment  when asked to compare himself to the other two receivers he is generally considered on par with as likely first-rounders — Corey Davis of Western Michigan and Mike Williams of Clemson. “Speed, definitely the speed,’ said ...

... and will never make again. MORE: Combine results from Friday. The fact that charges were dropped is the reason Westbrook was allowed to attend the combine, unlike running back teammate Joe Mixon, who wasn’t invited after accepting a plea deal for a 2014 misdemeanor assault of a woman. Westbrook lamented Mixon’s absence on Friday when addressing media inside the Indiana Convention Center. “What Joe did, of course, I don't approve of it but he was young and things happen,” Westbrook said. “Joe sat out a year (at Oklahoma). He was excluded from all team activities. “I felt like he paid his debt to society. He did community service hours, a ton of them. For him to come back and then they not allow him to come to the (combine). … This is just a big job interview. For him not to be here after he'd done his time and served whatever it was he had to serve, I don't think that's right.”.
