Meyers Leonard And Recent News On Yogi Ferrell And Tim Hardaway Jr

... That allows Leonard to get plenty of open looks when the defense collapses on Lillard. Even with open looks, Leonard hasn’t been connecting on enough threes so far this season. With Leonard not making nearly enough shots and Al-Farouq Aminu back from injury, it’s hard for Leonard to find playing time. Blazers coach Terry Stotts has played Leonard less often, in his last five games Leonard has only played 10 minutes per game, and he recorded a DNP against the Lakers on January 5 th. -Yogi Ferrell (Indiana Hooisers). The Philadelphia 76 ers are interested in point guards, and former Brooklyn Nets point guard Yogi Ferrel is among the group of players seeking a 10-day NBA contract. After the Sixers waived Hollis Thompson last week, Philadelphia has one roster spot open. Since getting cut by Brooklyn earlier this season, Ferrell returned to the L. I. Nets (Brooklyn Nets D-League team) and has played well. In Ferrell’s 13 D-League games with the L. I. Nets games, he’s averaging 19.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. The ...

... this evening. Orlando has been below average against the position this season, ranking 22 nd in the league. Lowry remains a consistent name towards the top of the charts as the offense almost primarily runs through him. De Mar De Rozan will always find a healthy amount of looks, but Lowry sees the most opportunity to produce value. He will have the edge this evening in a matchup against Orlando that has seen lacking production from their point guards all season. High Tier Pick ($8,500 – $7,000). Damian Lillard – $8400 – 42.619 Points. Damian Lillard stands in as the number one High tier option with a 39.85 fantasy average each night. The Trail Blazers will be facing the Mavericks at the Moda Center this evening. Dallas has been the best against the position as they rank 1 st versus opposing point guards. Lillard plays as one of the top overall options this evening. He is a regular scorer as the team’s primary ball handler. Dallas has been one of the top defensive teams in basketball, but increased playing time for new addition Yogi Ferrell could yield more opportunity for the scoring star in Portland. Middle Tier ($7,000 – ...

Yogi Ferrell And Seth Curry Are The Surprise Of The Nba Season

... of an NBA basketball game in Dallas, Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017. (AP Photo/LM Otero). By Tim Cowlishaw , Staff Columnist. Contact Tim Cowlishaw on Twitter: @Tim Cowlishaw. Tim Cowlishaw, sports columnist for Sports Day __link__ and The Dallas Morning News, author of Drunk on Sports and panelist on ESPN's Around the Horn, answered your questions about the Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks and local college sports in a live chat recently. Here are some highlights. Question: What have you thought about the recent play of Yogi and Seth Curry. Tim Cowlishaw: It's probably the surprise of the NBA season. Yogi more than Curry but Curry shooting and scoring like he has in this stretch is remarkable. Yogi Ferrell wasn't even getting that many minutes in the D League and now he's playing 36 minutes in wins over the Spurs and Cavaliers. Seems crazy. But when you don't turn the ball over, good things happen with the Mavs. Question: Each Mavs win takes them further and further away from the lottery. That's just dumb.right? What's the point of being an 8 seed and getting destroyed by Golden State. Tim Cowlishaw: No it's not dumb. Thinking the lottery ...

... Barnes and Curry on 9-of-14 total shooting, the Mavericks overcame being outshot through two quarters, 45 percent to 41.9 percent. The Mavs also held a 27-21 rebounding edge behind Mejri’s 12 boards off the bench. Opening the third quarter with a layup by Barnes, the Mavericks tried to put their foot on the gas coming out of the locker room for the second half. Matthews then lent some assistance with a three-pointer as the Mavs surged to a 57-51 lead. But after Nerlens Noel’s two-handed slam, the Mavericks held just a 60-57 lead midway through the quarter. The Dallas lead shrunk to two from there as 76 ers reserve Dario Saric found the touch at the offensive end. But after back-to-back triples by Harris, the Mavericks opened up a 74-65 advantage. And after Nik Stauskas fouled Harris on a three attempt with 34.1 seconds left in the third, the Mavs took an 81-69 lead into the final period. “The key to the game, I thought, was that stretch late in the third when Ferrell ran down a loose ball from behind, Salah took a charge, and the ...

Me And Yogi Ferrell Need To Be Thrown Into That Best Backcourt Conversation

... to hand the reins over to Seth Curry and Yogi Ferrell and live with the results. Has he gotten any advice. from big brother lately. Curry: "Nothing too much. I mean, we talk all the time, we text all the time, so it's nothing too different as of lately. But, I've just been joking around a little bit lately, saying, 'Me and Yogi [Ferrell] need to be thrown into that best backcourt conversation' [with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson] over the past few days.". Bigger win: At San Antonio, or. vs. Cleveland at home. Curry: "They're both very tough to do. I think that Spurs win on the road was huge because the Mavs hadn't beat them there in like six years, or something like that, so it was good to go down and get a win there. A Texas rival, you could say. It was fun there. [Had] to get that monkey off our back.". - Listen to ...

... Lin 6’3”. Bojan Bogdanovic, who plays the off-guard, is 6’8”. Ferrell genuinely liked the Nets organization, one league source said, and he didn’t complain about the yo-yoing. He and Le Vert, both of whom played four years in the Big 10, became buddies. He talked with Jeremy Lin as well. The Mavericks are expected to sign him to a guaranteed two-year deal in the next couple of days. There are also rumblings that Dallas is talking to Cleveland about Deron Williams. He will have an opportunity. As for the Nets, it’s a loss. They found him, put their faith (and a total of $202,000) in his development. Now the product of that development, including better shooting skills, resides in Dallas. Fans and pundits had a rollicking good time on Twitter Friday night reminding everyone, including us, that this phenom had been the property of your ...

... exited the game with 6 minutes, 17 seconds remaining. Okafor basically did whatever he wanted to do no matter who guarded him. He scored on floaters, turnaround jumpers, tip-ins, and dunks. The problem was he didn’t get much consistent help on the offensive end. And defensively, the Sixers were a wreck. Nerlens Noel didn't play a lot of minutes because of foul trouble. The Sixers center picked up three fouls and played just 6 minutes, 42 seconds in the first half. He picked up his fifth foul at the 4:37 mark of the third quarter and exited the game again. Noel returned with 10:53 left. But at the time, the Sixers were down, 99-80. He finished with four points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal, and a block in less than 19 minutes. Offensively, the Sixers didn't have a consistent second scorer to go with Okafor. Former reserve guard Isaiah Canaan finished with 15 points. Covington scored nine of his 14 in the first half. Yogi Ferrell Is The Goat
Yogi Ferrell Is The Goat

... minutes, but of course he deserves them. Because he’s the finest player in the history of the game. Not only that, but he’s been on the court pretty much whenever the team’s been doing well. He was a team high +12 against the Spurs, and +10 against the Cavs – behind only Wes (+14) and Dirk (+24). They only won those games by four and points, respectively, so it’s pretty much clear it’s all Yogi. I mean listen, it’s not like it’s 100% clear what Yogi does well. So far he’s shot competently from three (4-10), but not from anywhere else. He’s not exactly assisting at a high level, given how much he’s been on the floor (three assists, then seven). And of course, at six feet tall, no one would say the guy’s going to be a great rebounder. None of that matters, though. The Mavs are terrible, and then the new guy comes in and they beat the best teams in the NBA even on the second night of a back-to-back. The did it despite getting 23 total points from Dirk, none from future great Nicolas Brussino. They did it because ...
